ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
FROM THE PRODUCERS OF THE RIOT COMEDY CLUB
The Riot Comedy Festival is coming back for its third year in Montrose Houston from April 3rd-6th , 2025. The Riot Comedy Festival is an annual community event created by the founder of The Riot, award-winning comedian and entrepreneur Brian Gendron. Alongside his team of associate producers and dozens of volunteers The Riot Comedy Festival puts on over thirty comedy shows including standup, podcasts, music, a national comedy contest, and more.
The vision for the festival is to connect fans with comedians through a fun and intimate experience and to bring the comedy industry to Houston. The Riot comedy Festival achieves this in a big way by throwing a four-day block party held on the stretch of Waugh Drive in front of Rudyard’s between Welsh and Indiana. The party includes Vendors, Award-Winning Food, Cold Beer & Cocktails, Games, Street Performers all overlooked by the centerpiece of the festival a 30-foot inflatable astronaut gripping a microphone stand decorated with the Texas flag in one hand and the H-Town hand sign up high with his opposite hand.
